Hello, I'm WILSON
I have been married 30 years and have two wonderful daughters. My favorite possessions are my Canon camera and my iMac. :)
My love for photography started in high school as a photographer on the yearbook staff. I started out as a self-taught photographer. I learned from participating in online forums, reading books, endless practice, and trial and error. I eventually decided to go to school and learn the technical aspects behind photography. I developed and printed film, and even used a large format camera! You know, the accordion looking camera where you put the black cloth over your head? I know I know, it's 2026, but learning about film actually helped with my digital photography.
I've been published in "Halftime: Sights, Sounds & Spirit of the Marching Arts" magazine, and my clients include performers and families from WGI, HWAA, RMCGA, NSBA, Show Choir, and Standbury Uniforms. I am also a proud partner with Heartland Winters Arts Association.
I'd love to book you a senior session, photograph your event, or answer any questions you may have.
My approach

Senior year is a big moment! Full of milestones and excitement! My goal during every senior session is to create a relaxed, fun experience that feels true to who your senior is. I stay away from props and overly trendy looks because I want your images to be something you’ll be proud to hang on your wall not just today, but in 10, 15, or even 20 years.
I also bring a lot of my own background to the way I photograph competitions. I grew up in competitive sports, so I understand the pressure, the adrenaline, and the emotion behind the wins, and the losses. This experience helps me recognize those split-second expressions and movements that tell the real story. I understand what the performers are going through, which helps me capture the true spirit of the performance.
In every session, my goal is simple; to tell your story in a way that feels genuine, timeless, and full of life.
